On April of 1961 a three-months’ specializing tractor – drivers for the socialist agriculture begins besides the Station of mechanization of the agriculture in Reghin.
The fall of the same year brings along the Vocational School for Mechanics in Agriculture besides the SMA Reghin; It prepared agricultural mechanics and tractor drivers having 120 pupils in 3 classes, with 7 teachers and 3 years study period.
In 1964 a new building is used already on Raului street , having 8 classrooms, 2 workshops, a laboratory and a canteen. This is the year for the first graduation of 117 pupils.
In 1965 the school has already 486 pupils and 28 teachers and the name of the school becomes Agricultural Apprentice School .
Înfiinţarea primei trepte de liceu începând cu anul 1975 – 1976 va schimba denumirea şcolii în Liceu Agroindustrial cu profil mecanic şi agricol.
The year of 1990 brings along a new name Agricultural School Center Reghin, having already high-school and apprenticeship classes. The school chose new specializations in the agricultural, service, food industry public alimentation and agricultural mechanic fields, having new methods of study.
